LA has good pizza, people. You just have to know where to look.
Take Desano Pizza Bakery in East Hollywood, for instance. My new personal favorite. The freshest ingredients flown in from Southern Italy and cooked to perfection in those huge handmade wood-fired ovens. These pizzas are amazing. I’ve never had pizza in Italy, but I imagine they’d taste pretty similar to these. And watch out NYC, this dough doesn’t seem to require your fancy water and these slices have some serious fold-ability!
The top pizza is the Diavola and the bottom is the classic Margherita. I’ve also tried the Desano pizza and each has been ridiculously tasty. My favorite being the Diavola so far because, well…I like it spicy!
